What started as a small neighborhood pizzeria in 1952 has grown into a beloved destination for authentic coal-fired pizza.

Anthony's coal fired pizza began when Anthony Rossini, an immigrant from Naples, Italy, brought his family's traditional coal-firing techniques to America. With nothing but a dream and his grandmother's secret recipes, he opened the first location in a small storefront, hand-building our signature coal oven with bricks imported from Italy.

Today, we continue to honor Anthony's legacy by maintaining the same commitment to quality, tradition, and the unique smoky flavors that only coal-firing can deliver. Every pizza that leaves our kitchen carries with it over 70 years of passion, tradition, and the unmistakable taste of authentic Italian craftsmanship.

The Beginning

Anthony Rossini opens the first Anthony's coal fired pizza in a small storefront, building the coal oven by hand using traditional Italian methods and imported bricks.

1967

Family Expansion

Anthony's son Marco joins the business, bringing new ideas while preserving the traditional recipes. The restaurant expands to include a full dining room.

1985

Second Generation

Marco takes over operations and introduces catering services, sharing Anthony's authentic flavors with larger gatherings and special events throughout Arkansas.
